I started by washing my hair with a curl-enhancing shampoo, followed by a moisturizing conditioner. After spraying some detangler keratin to my keys, I carefully combed by wide tooth comb to remove tangles. I like using the Moroccan oil to close the cuticle and prevent frizz. This is an expensive product, but it really works on coarse, dry hair like mine. After that, I followed with some go-products that add texture and promotes natural curl. I let it air dry.
After dressing for the night but just before I headed out, I furrowed a little oil over Morocco to dry curls to add shine. With my hair straightener on setting up their hottest, I straighten my bangs down and sideways below the low. With some texturing paste, I formed them into place with a nice long grabbed my forehead. Voila! A look nice night.
The next morning I have to go to a soccer tournament pretty early. I do not want to re-do my hair but it is necessary to look decent all day. I gather my hair into a knot, a high loose and pulled out some small parts on the right cheek on either side of my face. I put my hair straightener on the settings a little lower (for fear that the product will smoke when heated) and turned barrel so the hair curled slightly towards my face. I refreshened bangs by straightening my hair, too.
Do I have won Miss America? Probably not. But I'm definitely a few steps above the headboard!
